Cozumel Island, because of its geographic characteristics, allows us to start fishing just a few minutes after leaving the marina, plus, you can enjoy beautiful views of the island and the Caribbean! As soon as we get to the “dark” waters, fishing lines will be deployed, and we will troll natural (ballyhoo) and/or artificial baits looking for the catch of the day.
The captain and crew will work hard to get you on the fish and make sure that you are well taken care of while on board. The boats are rigged with Penn, Shimano, and/or Okuma fishing gear, as well as downrigger and outriggers that allows us to have 5 lines in the water plus teasers. Our crew is very experienced and has fished the area since they were kids.
Deep Sea Fishing
Snapper, grouper, horse-eye jacks, amberjacks, barracuda, triggerfish, marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, wahoo, tuna, barracuda, mackerel and other species will be targeted during reef fishing. We use spinning fishing gear, and if you prefer, you can try the old-style handline; it's a whole different adventure to fight a triggerfish by hand. Depending on the area or the kind of fish we are looking for, we will weigh the line for snapper or let it float with the current for jacks and triggerfish.
Kids
If you have kids and/or prefer to stay in calm waters close to the shore, we can troll or reef fish with small gear for jacks, needlefish, barracuda, or even snapper. For us, the priority is that you have a fun and safe experience that can be enjoyed by every member of your family.
Snorkel
Cozumel is part of the second-largest barrier reefs in the world and Colombia Reef is one of the best sections of snorkeling you can imagine! On this private charter, you can choose to mix activities like snorkeling or visiting El Cielo (only available for the 6 & 8 hour trips). The famous El Cielo is an area to swim with starfish and relax on a sandbar. Starting early in the morning to catch dinner, then snorkeling on the reef, and finally spending some time on the beach is what we call a perfect day.
Included: 30 ft boat with bathroom, fishing gear & bait, snorkel equipment, bottled water, sodas, beer, fruit, guacamole & and chips. The 6 or 8-hour trips include sandwiches. The crew will clean your catch for you.
