If you are traveling to Cozumel from Cancun , there are several ways to do it, the first one is via air transfer, and this service is offered by Aerocaribe, with several trips a day. Please, ask at Aerocaribe Counter in the Cancun Airport.
If you are traveling to Cozumel from Cancun via land, you can do it by taking a Bus ($8 USD One Way Estimate) or Taxi ($56 USD One Way Estimate) to Playa del Carmen. Sometimes, there are more people like you traveling to playa del Carmen, this can help you save half the cost of the Taxi if you share the ride.
Once you are in Playa del Carmen, you have to take a Ferry to Cozumel, which takes about 40 minutes crossing to the Island . There are two different companies offering this service. The Ferrys start crossing over at 5:00am and stop crossing at 11:00pm, and the estimate cost of one way is $12 USD.
